Sam is posing in his Peru sweater that his aunt and uncle brought him from Machu Picchu
He sees his dad taking pictures and thinks he should investigate a little closer

Reaching, reaching...

...and nose to toes.

We spent the weekend in Idaho and had lots of fun. Sam and I spent Thursday in Logan where my cousin Tressa got married and then we caught a ride back to Idaho Falls with my mom and dad.

We all spent Friday resting and taking care of Grandpa (who wasn't feeling very good). Sam provided the entertainment.

Daniel joined us on Saturday night and Sam got to experience his first snowfall. It was beautiful, but kind of cold.

Sam likes to sit up in his bouncy chair. We have to keep an eye on him or he tries to bail out. He likes to lean over the sides and grab things.

He holds his head up so well. What a charmer!

He might be a future football player.

We had a fun Halloween. In the morning we met our friend Ashley and her baby Gabe and went trick-or-treating at a nursing home where the babies were very popular. Gabe was the cutest little scarecrow and Sam was Dracula.

This is the sorriest collection of Halloweeners you ever did see. The nursing home excursion interrupted everyone's morning naps and the only one's who found it charming were the moms. Sam was the only kid who still had a smile on his face and that's only because he was thrilled to have beaten the system. He hates naps.

After lunch and a long 30 minute afternoon nap we were off to Dad's office for a little Halloween party. The little vampire was still hanging in there and was cranky, but easily consoled. Plus he was once again the recipient of lots of attention. Just how he likes it.

Here's Sam posing with a much scarier vampire.

After work we went to see my Aunt Joni and her kids. Sam was getting to be a little less than amused by all the celebrating.

On the way home we stopped to see Aunt Dottie and Uncle Mike. That's were Sam really lost it. He let everyone know how very unhappy he was. Luckily there is no pictoral evidence of that. It is simply seared into the minds of all who witnessed it. All in all we had a great day and as a bonus Sam slept 8 hours that night. A Happy Halloween indeed.
